In today’s economic slump a girl could use all the help she can get when it comes to saving money. But just because you’re on budget ladies doesn’t mean you can’t go out and have some fun!!

Here are a few tips on getting yourself and maybe even some of your girlfriends free drinks for the night.

DON’T BE AFRAID TO DRESS UP…

When going out we always want to look our best, but when you go out with little or no money in your pocket you need to go above and beyond. Make sure to pick out an outfit that flatters your figure and don’t skimp out on doing your hair. Accentuate your best assets and use them to your advantage.

NO BOYS ALLOWED…

This is very important! You cannot bring guys with you to the bar/club if you plan on getting free drinks. Whether they are just your guy friends or another friends’ boyfriend, they are NOT allowed to come along. No guy will buy you a drink if you are surrounded by other guys.

BE APPROACHABLE…

Don’t go out with twenty of your closest girlfriends. Too many girls will scare most guys away. Four girls is the max and even that is pushing it. You and one friend is ideal for getting free drinks. Plus it’s more likely that a guy will buy you and your friend a drink if there is only one friend to buy for. Also make sure you have a friendly face and demeanor.

LOOK FOR THE DRUNK GUY…

You can usually tell when a guy has already had a few drinks so don’t be afraid to use that to your advantage. A guy who has been drinking usually has built up some liquid courage and he is more likely to approach you. It will also be easier to persuade him to buy you more then a few drinks with minimal conversation on your part. Just make sure he keeps drinking as well!

ACT DRUNK…

There is no shame in putting your acting skills to some use. If you act just a little more drunk then you actually are there is a very good chance you will get more drinks. Yes its sleazy of a guy to try and take advantage of the fact that a girl is already drunk so why not turn the tables and use it to your advantage!

DON’T BE STUCK UP!...

Ok girls times are tough and I know being approached by less then amazing looking guys is awful but if you want a free drink you may have to suck it up! Do not refuse a drink from anyone. If it’s offered to you then take it! It doesn’t mean you have to give the guy your number or even sit there and talk to him. Just thank him politely and excuse yourself. You’ll be fine!

Tuesday Night Fun!!

Ok so for all you money conscious people I've got a really hot spot for you tonight! The Cantina Lounge in Fullerton right off of state college has 2 dollar tequila shots and margaritas EVERY tuesday!! Who wouldn't want to check this place out!? They've got a Dj and a dance floor as well. So for all you hardcore party people who can handle a beginning of the week late night check out Cantina Lounge in Fullerton!!

Its Saturday Night!

Whats up guys and dolls! I went out to down town Fullerton last night and had a blast bar hopping and I even got a new bar to tell you all about called Back alley. I'm going out again tonight so I will have all the info and updates for you tomorrow! Be safe out there tonight kids! And remember...don't do anything I wouldn't do!!

Its almost Friday!!

Whats up guys and dolls! The weekend is almost here and i am gearing up to party! I might out in the down town Fullerton or uptown Whittier scene this weekend so hopefully i'll see all you guys out and about having a good time. But for all you party people who are starting their weekend early, my friend recently told me about a little bar in uptown Whittier called 6740. Apparently its a great neighborhood spot to chill and have a beer and some wings. Happy hour brings cheap appetizers and drinks. I've heard that both the fries and the wings are awesome! Good music, a little loud for the older folks but sounds like a great place to catch a game on tv or just have some drinks after work. I'll probably be hitting this place up soon so that I can give you guys a little more info. But if your in the area check it out and let me know what you think. Alright kids have fun out there, be responsible, and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Its been awhile..

Hey party people! sorry I haven't been posting but life does happen and school has kept me from going out and doing "research" for my blog! But this weekend after midterms I plan to make time and get back into the mix with all you night owls out there. I heard that Florentines in downtown Fullerton was poppin off tonight, so i know its late but if you head out now you might be able to make last call. Its located right next to Tuscany and they do charge a cover of 5 dollars but I think after 12 its free. They have some great drink specials and a pretty good dj on the weekends. The dance floor is a little small but have a few drinks and you won't care who your bumpin in to! College crowd, pretty friendly bar staff and cheap drinks, sounds like fun to me! So get out there and bump into some people folks! As always be safe and responsible. Remember...Don't do anything I wouldn't do kids!

Tina's Tavern

Hey party people! Its wednesday night and there is a perfect little spot to check out in West Covina. Its called Tina's Tavern and its right off the ten on Glendora ave behind the Edwards movie theatre. It might be what some would call a dive bar. Its a small bar with two pool tables, darts, and plenty of games to entertain the drunkest of patrons. The beers there are reasonably priced as well the mixed drinks for the ladies. You are allowed to smoke inside even though state laws say no smoking! Awesome right!! No cover charge and come as you are. My favorite because I hate dressing up! On saturday nights they have a DJ that plays a range of today and classics. Its a really good place to relax without the pressures of uppity club people and overpriced drinks.
